Project Info - MALLAPUR APARTMENTS

This residential Development comprises of over 144 residential apartments in Mallapur with 4 towers and 15m height each. The architectural language and landscape of the apartments is a contemporary interpretation of the existing style. The design has evolved from a stepped gopuram of a temple, the ornate tower of the temple context entrance, giving it the property to merge with the temple development and blend into its sites context. Its entrance depicts the Torana of the temple, the typical gateway. The green spaces become as important as the built form; they are experiential in nature and serve to form privacy gradients with thresholds of trees and planting. The density of the buildings has been addressed by designing a horizontality in each block, to reduce the scale.
